S E A S O N :
Winter
Weather? - Chilly winds and frequent snowfall. Snow crunches underpaw after every step.
Prey? - Little prey is running about. You may find a deer or two, but mice are more frequent. As for the dogs of Morocia, rats and crows are going to be your main prey source. However, Cat Alley dogs might find themselves with a few good feline meals or two.

[ ]» logs
Character logs are spiffy little threads that list every single one of your characters. They may also include information not included in that character's bio, such as parts of its history, or something along those lines. Character logs are extremely helpful and allow members to quickly find information on a certain character without having to hunt down its bio. Logs are not required, but they are encouraged.

The City Outskirts
[ ]» the broken road
Don't let the look of this rustic, dirt road fool you. It was, in fact, a bustling, paved road full of activity and honking cars. However, the road was closed due to the eruption of an underground spring. The road was setenced to have all paving ripped from it so that none would travel along it again. The ground that once lay under the road is perminant, so grass will not return to where it once thrived. Now, it is a path of red, dusty dirt.
00
[ ]» illuminated fields
These fields once held many acres of fresh vegetables and fruits, but, ever since the humans evacuated, the fields' great bounty has diminished. Winter gnawed at the fields, and along with the effects of predatory insects and animals, the crops truly had no chance. It is now, however, a large area of open land in which you may roam. Some abandoned buildings sit on the eastern edge of the area as well. At night, though, the fields are illuminated with the fluttering figures of thousands of fireflies soaring through the dark skies.
00
[ ]» the corn crops
Among the bare grasses and dirt of the acres of fields lies an extremely large patch of tall, green plants. These plants bear the vegetable many know and love: corn. This crop is stronger than any before it due to a genetically altered brand of fertilizer used by the humans. These plants can thrive through the coldest of winters, and, although many beasts seek their large cobs, they seem to regrow overnight. Aside from being a place to consume food, the monstrous plants serve as a wonderful place to hide and sleep among.
00
[ ]» the mangled forest
This small patch of forest was once owned by a tribe of wolves, but once the humans found that wolves were existing so close to their homes, they were sentenced to death. Hunters from far and wide came to claim the lives of the wolves. The tribe was obliterated, and the forests' trees were all sliced to mere stumps. Saplings are scattered around the shrubs and stumps, indicating that new growth is imminent.

Morocia City › Canis Domesticus
[ ]» the welcome sign
This large, sturdy sign once read the words, "Welcome To Morocia City." The sign was well taken care of by the humans; it was often washed every day, and any intruders who dare write graffiti upon it were sentenced to a high fine. However, since the evacuation, the sign has become unkempt and dirty. It's white border now sits dingy and brown. It's corners are cracked and broken, and its backside is littered with the graffiti of individuals. Not only has the sign been neglected, but the whole area has been as well. The grass is tall, and mostly littered with weeds.
00
[ ]» center street
Center Street has been rightly named, for the street stretches down throughout the entire city of Morocia. Its black pavement is blistering in the heat of summer, and the grey sidewalk the lines it isn't much better. Center is the widest street in Morocia, so it's easy to spot it. It is often used as a landmark.
00
[ ]» the rotting homes [claimable]
These homes are, by far, the oldest structures still standing in the city. Each house is side-by-side, and painted either white or light blue. However, due to the evacuation, these homes hace become dingy. Their wooden frames are rotting, and their foundations are cracking. Though it isn't a wonderful place for a human to live, it's perfect for a pack of dogs that are looking to carve out a territory. As in many places, the front lawns of the houses have an abundance of tall grass and weeds.
00
[ ]» the ditch
In Morocia, water collects in great numbers along the roadways and sidewalks. Every few feet along a road, there's a runoff pipe. All runoff pipes in the city connect to a central pipe, which run into the ditch. The ditch is planted on the right side of Center Street, and all water from th roadways run into this ditch. Its sides are lined with rocks and cement, making it easy to climb in and out. Be weary, though, because snakes love to swim in the dirty water that collects here.
00
[ ]» cat alley [claimable]
Morocia city isn't only the home of dogs. Cats of hundreds, if not thousands, live among the dogs in the city. Many cats have created colonies, and one such colony lives among the dumpsters and trash cans of this dark, damp alleyway. Only the bravest of the brave may create a territory here, for the cats aren't too fond of dogs. If given the chance, they'll kill and eat your corpse. Of course, cats make for a tasty meal themselves.
00
[ ]» the hotel [claimable]
Standing high among the other broken buildings sits a rather brightly-painted hotel. Its neon sign no long burns into the dark of the night, but rather rusts and erodes as the rain, wind, and sun all assume the positions of rusting the sign. The hotel itself is a faded pink, and, although its previous owners borded its windows and door with plywood, there are gaping holes where beasts have chewed through the damp wood to seek shelter. In the inner chambers of the hotel, the air is still and moist. Even during the day, little light enters its interior. cockroaches and rats make this moldy, fowl-smelling hotel their home.
00
[ ]» the bank
This is one of the largest buildings in Morocia City. It easily reaches over the tops of almost every other building in the city. Its 50 stories make for a great view, that is, if you can get inside. All windows have been closed and locked, and the door is bolted shut. Though many windows in the upper stories have shattered, the lower windows are still closed tightly. However, the light posts that sit outside its front doors make for a great place to relieve yourself.
00
[ ]» city palms
As you begin to leave the inner workings of Morocia City, you will come to two long rows of palm trees that line the east and west side of Center Street. The palms were once seen as one of the most beautiful sights in the city. However, due to lack of care, the palms are overgrown and covered in ivy. The thick vines are imbedded in the tree's flimbsy bark and are slowly strangling the trees to death.
00
[ ]» the statue
Here sits the great statue that represents a large portion of Morocia's history. The statue shows a wolf being mercilessly hunted by man's noble canine. In the past, the people of Morocia lived by hunting wolves for their pelts. In doing so, the people of the town made money, which allowed them to expand even further. Of course, newer, less cruel jobs came about, but Morocia's veterans would still salute the mighty statue, showing the struggle between dog and wolf.
00
The Forest › Canis Lupus
[ ]» the small homes [claimable]
These homes aren't within city limits, but were ordered to evacuate along with the rest of the city. These small homes were once owned by the elderly or those who just wanted to get away from the bustling streets and flashing lights. Their once neatly trimmed yards are now overrun with weeds and shrubs. Some grasses even stretch to the raised windows. Although you aren't able to access the inside of the houses, the fact that they are raised off of the ground allows you to crawl underneath. Though the homes aren't in the forest itself, they can shelter a small pack.
00
[ ]» the thin pines
This small patch of forest is the home of many thin pine trees. The weak trees twist and bend from the slightest whistle of wind. The trees are so thin, in fact, that you can see straight through the forest. Not many prey items are found here due to the thin foliage and lack of cover.
00
[ ]» dusty clearing [claimable]
As you step out of the forest, you'll find that the hard soil under your paws loosens. Its texture becomes soft, and dusty dirt flies about after every step you take. You've now entered the clearing that sits between the small pine forest and the thicker forest. The ground underpaw is loose and dusty, and little plant life grows here. However, it is a common path many prey animals take when traveling throughout the entire area.
00
[ ]» the rushing rapids [claimable]
Just as its name states, these rapids are fast and unforgiving. Their unnaturally blue waters will suck any soul into their rocky abyss, slamming them against sharp boulders and underwater cliffs. Slippery, black rocks sit on either side of the rapids, and, if you aren't careful, you'll slip into them.
00
[ ]» flowered meadow
Ah.. Who doesn't love the peaceful breeze of this meadow? The summer flowers, or the winter frost? This meadow is truly beautiful, and that fact shows year-round. In the summer, prey is abundant, making it a prime hunting spot for all wolves, pack-bound or not. However, in the winter, prey can be nearly nonexistant here. A stray deermouse, or two, might be hopping about the frost, but that is only on rare occasion.
00
[ ]» the fallen oak
This mighty tree succumbed to the brute strength of a thunderstorm. Its mighty winds shoved and tugged, while a mighty crack of lightning loosened it from its foundation. It tumbled down, smashing into the earth with an impact that could shake the gods themselves. Now, the tree is somewhat hollowed out, and can serve for a great area of protection in bad weather.. That is, if you don't mind insects.
